are slow to mature and males are generally
slightly easier to train than females. Crate
training works best for the Bichon Frise. It is
important to be consistent and patient. They do
well with obedience and agility training
beginning at an early age. The Bichon Frise

tricks.
Activity
This breed is able to fulfill their exercise
needs by adapting themselves to family
activities. However, this is not a breed for a
sedentary lifestyle. They enjoy daily walks and
play sessions. They are well suited to apartment
living provided appropriate exercise is given.
